If you find that the number of aligners in a treatment plan seems too many or too few, you can request adjustments from the technicians. For example, if 21 active aligners don't seem sufficient, you can ask for more, such as increasing the number to 30. It's also important to request four nearly passive aligners at the end of the treatment to maintain the patient's progress while waiting for the next batch. Additionally, you can ask for even velocity across all aligners to ensure consistent progress throughout the treatment.

Instructions to Technician:

Give 30 active aligners and then 4 nearly passive aligners for 34 in total. Spread the velocity evenly so all teeth start at aligner 1 and stop at aligner 30.
